ACTION: Stop Super-spreader Events in Los Angeles
A request has been put out by the Poor People’s Campaign of Los Angeles, to directly combat the aggression and recklessness of Christian Nationalism.
Sean Feucht, a self-described “missionary, artist, speaker, author, activist, and the founder of multiple worldwide movements” who has organized crowded outdoor concerts throughout the pandemic, is coming to Los Angeles. He intends to stage multiple “worship protests” in and around Los Angeles on and just before New Year’s Eve.
These unpermitted events are part of his #letusworship movement, which has been criticized by health officials and faith leaders for drawing thousands of spectators, many of whom have ignored social distancing guidelines and health orders requiring masks.
It is a part of a larger campaign created to push back on the reasonable regulation of church and worship services enacted to promote public safety during the pandemic.
