Techno Composer & Musician for Independent Comedy Film (Low Pay, Non-Union)
Are you a talented and innovative Techno Composer & Musician with a passion for creating infectious beats and electronic soundscapes? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Techno Composer & Musician to join our creative team for an upcoming independent comedy film project. If you have a knack for crafting energetic and comedic techno music, this is your chance to shine. Please note that this is a low-paying, non-union position, but it offers a chance to gain valuable experience and be part of an exciting project.
Responsibilities:
*Collaborate closely with the director to understand the comedic tone and requirements of the film.
*Compose original techno tracks that enhance the humor and energy of the scenes.
*Utilize your creativity and technical skills to reinvigorate folk songs from the 19th century with a techno flare.
*Incorporate comedic elements and surprises into your compositions.
*Collaborate with the sound design team to ensure seamless integration of music and audio effects.
*Provide guidance and suggestions to enhance the overall musical experience of the film.
*Adapt and arrange existing tracks or elements to fit the film’s needs, if required.
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Techno Composer & Musician, preferably with experience in comedy films (independent film experience is a plus).
*Proficiency in composing and producing techno music.
*Strong knowledge of electronic music production techniques and software.
*Ability to capture and convey humor through music.
*Strong technical skills in sound design and music production.
*Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
*Flexibility to adapt to the needs of low-budget independent film production.
Please note that this is a low-paying, non-union position, and the budget for the film is limited. However, we believe in providing opportunities for emerging talent and creating a collaborative and fun working environment.
