We are seeking a talented and experienced publicist to join our team for an independent feature film shooting in Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully promoting independent films and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic publicity campaigns to generate buzz and excitement for the film
Coordinate press events and interviews with cast and crew
Build and maintain relationships with members of the press and media outlets
Manage social media accounts and engage with fans to build a following for the film
Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials
Monitor press coverage and provide regular updates to the production team

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in film publicity, preferably in independent film
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts for films
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
