Responsibilities:
*Identify and approach potential buyers, distributors, and platforms to secure distribution deals for the film.
*Utilize your industry knowledge and connections to negotiate and close sales agreements.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers and industry professionals.
*Collaborate closely with the production team to understand the film’s unique selling points and target audience.
*Create compelling sales materials, including pitch decks, trailers, and promotional materials, to showcase the film’s potential.
*Provide regular updates to the production team on sales progress and potential opportunities.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as an Independent Film Sales Agent, preferably with experience in selling comedy films (independent film experience is a plus).
*Strong negotiation and sales skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Deep understanding of the independent film industry and distribution landscape.
*Ability to identify target markets and potential buyers for the film.
*Strong network of contacts in the film industry.
*Flexibility to adapt to the needs of low-budget independent film production.
