Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Post-Production Audio Mixer with a passion for crafting exceptional soundscapes and enhancing the comedic experience? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Post-Production Audio Mixer to join our creative team for an upcoming independent comedy film project. If you have experience in audio editing, sound design, and mixing for film, this is your chance to showcase your skills. Please note that this is a non-union position, but it offers a chance to gain valuable experience and be part of an exciting project.

Responsibilities:
*Collaborate closely with the director and post-production team to understand the desired audio aesthetic and comedic tone of the film.
*Edit and mix audio tracks, ensuring optimal clarity, balance, and synchronization.
*Enhance dialogue, music, and sound effects to elevate comedic moments and overall audio quality.
*Apply sound design techniques to create immersive and engaging audio experiences.
*Clean up and remove unwanted noise or imperfections from audio recordings.
*Ensure consistent audio levels and seamless transitions throughout the film.
*Collaborate with the director and sound supervisor to achieve the desired audio vision.

Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Post-Production Audio Mixer, preferably with experience in independent comedy films (low-budget film experience is a plus).
*Proficiency in audio editing and mixing software/tools (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or DaVinci Resolve).
*Strong understanding of audio post-production techniques, including dialogue editing, sound effects, and Foley.
*Attention to detail and a keen ear for balancing and enhancing audio elements.
*Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the post-production team.
*Flexibility to adapt to the needs of low-budget independent film production.

Please note that this is a low-paying, non-union position, and the budget for the film is limited. However, we believe in providing opportunities for emerging talent and creating a collaborative and fun working environment.
